Married rapper Kanye West and former fiancee Kim Kardashian have endorsed rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Kim and Kanye both support Kelly and even have his rap track “Rap Devil” featured on their 2016 album “The Life of Pablo.” However, Kelly doesn’t really have anything in common with the Kardashian family except a bit of beef.
“I have a friend who is married to Kim and he told me she’s crushing on somebody right now,” Kelly told Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club in New York. “She really likes my new song, ‘Rap Devil.’ And I’m cool with that. I’m cool with anyone that gets that song played.”
At the event, Kelly also responded to West’s recent argument with Drake.
“Of course I’m as huge as Drake and Kanye and this type of music. I’m cool with everybody that does that. Me and Kanye, we cool, we chill.”
He did add that “It’s just that Kim Kardashian is not having the right time right now, no. I just don’t think that I’m taking advantage of that or cashing in on that at this time. But no, it’s great that you have those comments and it’s cool that they like my music.”
Kelly did mention Kanye at the event, however, claiming he had “no beef with Kanye West at all.”
And while Kim and Kanye are not getting back together, they are not taking things slow.
“They’re taking it slow,” Kelly said. “They love each other very much and they have a lot of history together. A lot of memories.
“You know, we’re here two times talking about what I just said, and that’s as explosive as anything that’s out in the world right now,” he continued. “You know, with social media, you gotta do it how you gotta do it.”
Kelly did say Kanye and Kim have no desire to get back together in an interview with The Cut before the Power 105.1 concert.
“They don’t want to talk about it,” he said. “It’s too much back and forth with everything, and they just don’t want that. They don’t want to go into the details of it.
“It’s not about that. It’s not [explicit] over there,” he added. “They love each other and they both want the best for each other. And if that doesn’t come, it doesn’t come. And they’re going to get it the only way that it’s supposed to be.”
